About the Project
This contract involved the removal of existing treatment equipment; upgrading of control panels and dosing equipment; shut down of water supply to area while works were undertaken.
The works involved the removal of existing dosing pumps and installation of 2 new dosing pumps that operate on duty/standby arrangement.
The dosing pumps are wired to an automatic changeover control panel that in the event of the duty pump tripping the standby pump will cut in.
The control panel also had in-built facilities for future upgrade to include a third dosing pump, that would dose proportional to the residual chlorine in the supply line.
