Off Site (DfMA) Solutions

Designing the Future

Combining over 50 years of water industry experience and advanced engineering techniques, EPS offers market leading treatment and pumping technology, delivered through digital engineering methods, providing a higher degree of adaptability, safety, efficiency and continuity in delivery.

Bespoke Off-Site Solutions

EPS is equipped to supply, deliver and commission bespoke off-site assemblies and complex integrated structures globally. We apply a system of Design for Manufacturing & Assembly (DfMA) by combining our in-house engineering services with our substantial manufacturing capacity and our delivery planning team to provide clients with a comprehensive off-site service.

Digital Engineering

Digital Engineering is at the core of what we do in EPS, providing the tools and opportunities to offer far greater support and better solutions to our customers. Our design engineers interact on a daily basis, in many cases with our clients’ in-house design teams; with customers across Ireland; the UK and further afield, initiating concept designs; developing solutions and adding value through the implementation of DfMA thinking and project delivery.

We use our digital engineering platforms to encourage planning; information sharing; federation of designs; cost viability; lean thinking and effective change management while challenging waste and inefficiencies.

Leading the Way

Our ever expanding digital engineering capability is providing all the tools and opportunity for us to offer far greater support and better solutions for our customers.

EPS – supported by Enterprise Ireland – began the road to BIM in 2014, and through the benefits seen by our clients, took another step on this road in 2017 with the development of the EPS Digital Engineering strategy.

We use 3D design; 4D planning and visualisation with the use of laser scanning; barcode stock management and advanced manufacturing techniques to design; integrate; plan; produce; deliver; install and commission industry leading solutions.

The establishment of meps, our joint venture with MWH Treatment in 2013, was a first for the water sector. Together, both organisations achieved first mover advantage in the development of real examples of off-site delivery, supporting our UK water sector clients.

The collective learning and outcomes during this partnership has influenced the ongoing delivery of our solutions today.
