EPS Group selects IFS Applications 8 to improve efficiencies
EPS Group has chosen IFS Applications™ 8 as its new ERP solution to help improve the accuracy of information across the business and support its mobile workforce. The solution will be used daily by approximately 300 employees at EPS’ sites throughout Ireland and the UK to streamline processes and enable better management decision making.
EPS Group will implement IFS Applications 8 as its core IT application, thereby replacing up to 20 disparate home-built applications to provide staff with the benefits of one single, integrated solution. The system will support all business-critical processes, from manufacturing, asset management, project and supply chain management to human resources (HR), customer relationship management (CRM) and financials. Implementation is planned to go live in April 2014.
IFS’s mobile applications will also enable field engineers to record and submit data while on-site, helping provide more up-to-date information and reduce data processing costs. With the IFS mobile apps, engineers will be able to immediately record work carried out and place requisitions and orders for materials directly into the mobile apps, rather than fill in paperwork that will then need to be re-entered.
