DESCRIPTION
An Operations Area Supervisor is required to cover the Munster region, reporting to the Operations & Maintenance Area Manager. This role will involve management of wastewater treatment plants.
A highly varied and challenging role, this position requires a people centric and organised person with a solutions mindset to maintain and prioritise issues at water and wastewater plants.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule & co-ordinate a team of operators
- Preventative and corrective maintenance management at the treatment plants and the associated pumping stations
- Environmental compliance on all assigned sites
- Budget management of operations and capital expenditure
- Manage client relationships
- Completing HSQE audits, checking RAMS & SSW of works are carried out and all staff are H&S compliant & safety equipment is maintained
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven track record of supervising operational staff
- Excellent time management and flexibility
- Fluent English and strong communication skills
- Good IT skills, Microsoft Excel & Word
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise the urgency of maintaining water and wastewater treatment facilities
- The successful candidate will live in the locality, be able to ensure timely access to the sites within the responsibility of the role.
- A full clean driving licence is obligatory
- Although not a requirement, a qualification in a related discipline (i.e science/engineering) would be advantageous
