Nereda & Offsite Construction at Great Dunmow Makes the Press
An article by EPS’ Shaun Stevens and Michael O’Sullivan on the combination of Nereda® technology with off-site construction was featured in a recent edition of the Insitute of Water Magazine.
Great Dunmow is a biological treatment plant with 3 No. reactors, 600m³ each.
EPS provided a DB/DfMA package to the value of £3.4m, which consisted of:
- layout & hydraulic design
- design manufacture and installation of storm tank tipping buckets
- interconnecting pipework system & Nereda® technology for influent buffer
- Nereda reactors & sludge buffers
- tertiary treatment
- instrumentation system
- access steelwork &
- process commissioning
EPS provided a full DfMA federated 3D model; minimised site deliveries and installation time.
