EPS wins National Digital Technology Award at European Business Awards
EPS Group has won the Digital Technology award at the European Business Awards ‘Ones to Watch’ event in Dublin. The company’s award submission focused on their recent €4.5million euro investment in a 40,000 sq.ft. state of the art Centre for Design and Manufacturing Excellence in Mallow.
EPS was named one of 11 National Winners from 77 businesses at an exclusive event held at the British Ambassador’s residence in Dublin last night (Monday, Feb 5th) for the European Business Awards, Europe’s largest business competition, sponsored by RSM. Director Denis Buckley accepted the award on the company’s behalf.
The new centre allows EPS to work collaboratively with their clients & partners to ensure the best possible outcome for timeline estimation; risk reduction and project delivery. This occurs by including 3D design as standard; 4D animated digital rehearsals; Design for Manufacture & Assembly; Building Information Modelling (BIM) techniques; use of augmented reality for client visualisation; animation of method statements; “fly-through” digital demonstrations; standardisation of our products – with design by exception only thereafter; full traceability of all components from drawing to site; off-site construction of complex and bespoke solutions
We are making excellent progress in our BIM/digital delivery journey as a company and with our partners, a position we intend to protect and strengthen further over the coming years
EPS was chosen by a panel of independent judges including senior business leaders, politicians and academics as the best in their country in the Digital Technology Awards category. As a National Winner, EPS will face further judging in their chosen category, and the final category winners will be announced at the European Business Awards Gala Final in Warsaw, Poland in May.
EPS has an excellent history in the European Business Awards. The company was named a National Champion for Ireland in 2013/14 and received the EBA’s Ruben d’Honneur award in 2014 and again in 2015.
