FOCUS ON: MARKET LEADING MULTIBOOST FROM EPS

EPS Group is reflecting on the past 5 successful decades, as they edge towards their 50th year in business in December. The company is the largest Irish-owned company involved in the design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of water and wastewater treatment solutions, pumping solutions and their ongoing operation and maintenance, employing over 450 people in Ireland, the UK and Jordan.

We started in the agricultural sector in 1968 - providing quality services and products to meet the farming community's water pumping needs, from effluent treatment and slurry management to parlour wash-down, pumping and rainwater harvesting systems

The company’s recent rebranding has seen them adopt the tagline “Rethinking Water”. “We feel this phrase really reflects where the company stands today a progressive company and team thinking differently”, says Patrick.

And EPS is certainly doing that. “Our €4.5m Centre for Design and Manufacturing Excellence is the latest building on what is fast becoming our Mallow campus, alongside our main office, warehouse & stores”, Patrick notes. The new facility further enhances EPS’ reputation and capabilities as one of Europe’s leading specialists in the delivery of cost-effective modular off-site products & solutions for the water sector.

The company’s products division designs; supplies and services homes, farms and commercial enterprises nationwide with a variety of pumping and water treatment technologies and solutions.

One of EPS’ most successful product lines is the Multiboost range. Products Manager Anthony McCarthy led the development. “Through the feedback we were receiving from our sales teams across the country in their direct dealings with customers across a wide variety of sectors, we realised that there was a gap in the market for a packaged solution for boosting water pressure. And so, Multiboost was born. That was over 10 years ago and today, there are 14 models of varying dimensions and capacities and up to 26 standard design combinations”.

The latest addition to the range to be launched this July will be the Xilent Multiboost variable speed unit designed with the plumber and end user in mind as a plug and play system with user friendly features and ease of operation post-installation.

The product range is further complimented by accessories such as drip trays; insulation jackets and has its own dedicated standalone website – www.multiboost.ie to help installers; end users to make the most appropriate product selection for their individual requirements.

Multiboost systems have been installed in such varied applications as apartment complexes; houses; embassies, airports and commercial buildings; farms and municipal projects.

With the continued growth and success of Multiboost, it is fair to say that the product range is beyond compare. “It’s a great source of pride to us when our customers tell us that our product far surpasses anything else available on the market. That, matched with our 24/7 service, our knowledgeable team members and production quality, make EPS the pressure boosting product market leaders”, says Anthony.

EPS customers can rely on the company’s branch network, from Mallow, Co. Cork to Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo; Naas, Co. Kildare and Mountrath, Co, Laois, which are stocked with a full range of products, provide an all-in-one service with full support including spares; service and repairs.
