DESCRIPTION
IPP – now part of EPS Group – require suitably qualified Mechanical/Electrical Service Engineer to join our Service Team based out of our Dublin 14 office.
Preferably with experience working in the building services and general industry. The role will involve the service and commissioning of heating/chilled water pumping plant, pressurisation units, water booster sets, and general pumps, on numerous sites in the Republic of Ireland.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Routine Tasks will involve:
- Service and repair of mechanical equipment as above, on both a callout and planned routine preventative maintenance basis, on various sites
- Complying with H & S procedures
REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified fitter or electrician with relevant experience and a flair for both mechanical and electrical plant
- Experience working on installation and service of mechanical plant in the boilerhouse and plantroom environment
- Experience in service and repair of centrifugal pumps, and a good knowledge of electrical control equipment, such as control panels and variable speed drives etc.
- Experience with carrying out service inspections and reporting
- Candidates should be flexible regarding working hours
- Must demonstrate good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work in both a team, and on their own initiative
- Working knowledge of current H&S legislation
Additional Requirements:
- Full clean driving licence is mandatory
- Safe-pass
- Confined space training an advantage
Candidates must have a valid permit to work in Ireland.
