We have an exciting opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team based in Donegal. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will have responsibility for commercial management of one or more EPS projects.


  • Preparation of sub contract procurement packages
  • Preparing and analysing costs for tenders and contracts
  • Measurement of bills of quantities, preparing and checking valuations, including re-measurement
  • Monitoring and checking variations, preparing materials orders schedules and document management
  • Agreement of interim payments and interim/final accounts
  • Knowledge & understanding of contractual obligations
  • Administer contract records
  • Claims management
  • Measurement and valuations for both employers and subcontractors
  • Prepare monthly progress applications and report on financial status of contracts on monthly basis
  • Setting up subcontract agreements including T&Cs of subcontractor’s orders and monitoring throughout the term of the subcontract


  • Must have 2+ years experience working as a Quantity Surveyor and be a fully qualified QS with an BSc Honours Degree  in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with fluent English
  • Computer literate and must have good IT skills
  • Good communication skills needed in dealings with all the different aspects of the business
