Established in 1995, Industrial Pumps & Process (IPP) offers a wealth of experience and market knowledge and have become market leader in both the supply & service of pumping and associated plant to the Irish building services and general industry.

IPP is now looking for an Internal Technical Sales Engineer to working within our technical sales team, providing engineered product solutions, technical support and proposals to the IPP customer base. You will be reporting to the General Manager. This job will be based in Churchtown, Dublin.



  • Generate quotations/proposals for new and existing customers
  • Provide technical support to customers, the external sales team and other departments within the company
  • Sales order processing
  • Procurement of equipment from suppliers for specific project work
  • Preparation and maintenance of documents such as; quotations, customer orders, project purchase orders, etc.
  • Regular liaison with customers with delivery updates, and delivery planning
  • Undertake regular product/application training and self-development activities
  • Carry out other tasks as required to ensure the smooth running of the technical sales effort
  • Perform the job in compliance with the company’s policies and procedures
  • Maintain a good knowledge of the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental standards and adhere to safe working practices at all times


  • A good level of mechanical engineering knowledge is desirable, along with the ability to apply this knowledge to practical problem solving
  • Ability to work within a dynamic team
  • Good communication skills and confidence in dealing with a range of people
  • A professional and proactive attitude
  • Good organisational skills
  • A willingness and aptitude to adapt to ever-changing customer and company needs in a high-growth environment

  • IT proficient, (ie: Windows OS and Microsoft Office) – previous experience with ERP or CRM systems desirable
