DESCRIPTION
We have an immediate vacancy for a Stainless/Mild Steel Steel Welder to be based at our Head office in our Mallow Manufacturing plant. The role will report directly to the Production Manager.
The ideal candidate would be a Qualified Fitter/Fabricator with relevant experience working on the installation and service of mechanical plant on Water and Wastewater treatment sites. The position will be based full time in our Manufacturing facility in Mallow, Co. Cork.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- MIG/TIG and Arc welding required
- It is essential that candidates can read and understand shop drawings
- Upon employment, candidates must undergo and pass weld tests
- Candidates must work to CE EN1090 criteria
- Proven ability to work in a team.
- Fault finding and problem resolution in general
REQUIREMENTS
- Qualified mechanical fitter/fabricator/welder
- Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience
- Good communication skills
- Good time keeping
- Health and Safety awareness
- Good attention to detail
- Motivated, with a positive attitude and work well within a team environment
- Leaving Certificate completion
- Trade Certs or similar relevant qualification
- Full clean driving license
