DESCRIPTION
EPS Group are currently recruiting for Electrical Apprentices to join our Service Team based in Naas Co Kildare.
EPS Group are a complete end to end solutions provider involved in the design, build, operation and maintenance of water and wastewater assets & infrastructure in the municipal (Local authority), Industrial (Food and Beverage/Dairy/Pharmaceutical) markets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The apprenticeship system is a modular standards- based system comprising of seven alternating phases of on the job and off the job training and development. The off the job phases are delivered by a training centre, an institute of technology or another approved training provider. The duration of the traineeship programme is generally four years for the apprenticeships provided by EPS. The apprenticeship requires a significant commitment on the part of the trainee over the four-year period. The apprenticeship cycle is deemed to be complete when the results approval panel approves that the apprentice has successfully achieved the required qualifying standard, completed all the alternating on the job and off the phases of the apprenticeship and served the minimum apprenticeship period as specified by Solas/ETB.
REQUIREMENTS
- Leaving cert at a minimum with particular focus on attaining good grades in math’s as well as some engineering and or construction studies subjects
- Math’s and Physics are particularly beneficial
