DESCRIPTION

We have an immediate vacancy for a Planner to join our Contracts team to work on several live projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities: 

  • Assisting the Planning Manager in developing project schedules encompassing full project scope, milestones, and timelines
  • Regularly liaise with project teams to review schedule progress, identify variances, programme impacts and propose corrective actions
  • Advise project teams on programme risks and opportunities with clear site derived information
  • Report schedule progress to internal and external stakeholders by developing and presenting concise programme presentations to clients and project teams
  • Develop tools and effectively communicate programme methodology and key milestones
  • Monitor trends across projects
  • Engage with the commercial team on matters arising during contract delivery
  • Advise senior management on resourcing levels and required programme outputs
  • Aid the Planning Manager in the development of and participation in planning systems and procedures

REQUIREMENTS

Requirements: 

  • Third Level Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering degree/diploma
  • 3+ years experience in mechanical & electrical field
  • Possess the ability to develop logic-based programmes from drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6/ Asta Powerproject / OPC) preferable but not required
  • Have a willingness to learn and be challenged in the water and wastewater industry
  • Full clean drivers licence
