DESCRIPTION
As a Construction Supervisor, you’ll oversee daily operations on our construction site in Killybegs, Co. Donegal.
Your responsibilities include managing crews, ensuring adherence to safety standards, coordinating tasks, scheduling, monitoring construction progress, and liaising with clients and stakeholders
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise on-site day to day activities, ensuring timely completion of the work program
- Maintain project administration
- Order materials and equipment and handle necessary permits
- Assess safety and financial goals
- Manage subcontractors by tracking progress, and ensuring protection of finished works
- Conducting sub-contractor meetings, participating in look-ahead meetings, and coordinating tasks for timely completion
- Contribute construction information to strategic plans and reviews
- Monitor project expenditures to meet the construction budget
- Define project purpose and scope for successful project results
- Conduct inspections at critical phases to approve construction projects
- Ensure compliance with codes to prevent fines and work interruptions
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures
- Conduct comprehensive HSQE audits and site inspections
- Review, evaluate, and manage subcontractor documentation and on-site inductions
- Foster a proactive safety culture
- Address employee concerns regarding safety, health, and environmental matters
REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant trade qualification
- 10 years+ experience in a similar role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
- IT Skills – Microsoft Office
